Oskar Madonna-Gilda Dondona are the absolute winners of the Christmas Race of Palamós

The four-seventh edition of the Christmas Race came to an end in the waters of the bay of Palamós after four days of competition. The Ukrainian Oskar Madonna and the French Gilda Dondona, first and second of the Ilca class 6, were the absolute champions taking the Prizes Diputació de Girona to the best youth, and the Manuel Albalat to the best of Olympic classes. In the Ilca class 4 victory of the British Ben Anderson and in the double classes the winners of the Christmas Race were the British Neil Barsden- David Bromallow in 420 and the Dutch tandem Tjid Wildeboer- Lars Van den Berg in 29er. The Spanish podios were signed by the Catalan Álvar Vila, second in Ilca 4, and Santiago Núñez and Ricardo De March, third in 29er.
