Fifth edition of the Marine Forum, which starts in Ibiza next Tuesday

Nautica Digital Europe

Next Tuesday the 5th Marine Forum 2023 is inaugurated in Ibiza... an edition that will focus on the objectives of regenerating and protecting the Mediterranean Sea. In it, about 50 international, national and local experts from various areas such as law, biology, education, the company, among others, will provide their analysis of the health of the Balearic Sea... the inaugural event will be carried out by Sylvia Earle, a biologist, explorer and pioneer of marine activism.

This edition, unlike the previous ones, will be extended throughout the month, until its closing on November 26 in the Auditorium of Es Caló de S'Oli in Sant Josep de Sa Talaia, in which will be held a conference of Hector Salvador, the first Spanish to go down to one of the deepest points of the Marian pit, specifically to 10,706 meters, in the abyss of the Sirena, the second deepest point of the Marian pit and the third in the world. Salvador will go to the fifth edition of the Forum to discuss its work and those almost unexplored areas of our planet where, unfortunately, unknown species live with microplastics.
