The X Trophy El Correo ended in the Vizcaina waters of the Abra with the celebration of the last tours in the Regata and J80 classes, because the cruise test had to be cancelled due to the lack of wind. It was a complex day to sail with a roll wind in which the Regatas Committee gave a 10-mile test for the Regata class and in the J80 class only one tour was completed in the inner Abra.

In this race, organized by the Real Club Marítimo del Abra - Real Sporting Club - which is located in the final section of its 125th anniversary - the regularity of the crews throughout the four-weekend competition has been key. And the best in this edition were the Symphony of Javier Onaindia in the Regata class, the Bacilón of José Miguel Franco in Cruciero I, the Kohen of Juan Carlos Estefanía in Cruciero II and the Kiwi of Felix Moneo among the ships of the J80 division.

The Symphony of veteran patron Javier Onaindia, with his second place in the final race, untied the tie he had at the top of the general with Mikel Emaldi's Maitena. The two favorites were followed in the final classification by the Alpega de Alfonso Churruca, the Akelarre de Mauricio Guibert, the Txupinazo de Juan Valdivia - the winner of the last tour of this El Correo Trophy -, the Rat Pack of Javier CHA varri and the Thelonious of Jon Garai.

On the other hand, the Bacilón of José Miguel Franco, after the test of Cruciero I was annulled, ended up as leader with 4 points, for the 6 of the Nexus of Javier Trueba and the 9 of the Sprits of Javier Landaluce. In addition, the Kohen, after not holding the last test, won as expected at Cruciero II, followed by the Blai de Iñigo Aldea and the Ramper de Jairo López de Guevara.

Among the monotypes of class J80, the Kiwi de Felix Moneo (6 points) was imposed. The Ausart of Igartxe Berasategui was second with 9 points and the Obelix of Pablo Gomeza third with 15 points. The Fingolfin won the only test held in this class on the last day.

The X Trophy El Correo concludes on Saturday 21 in the hand of the Real Club Marítimo del Abra-Real Sporting Club, with the celebration of its last tours in the classes Regata, Cruise and J80.
