Spain with two partials of four-tenth, left off the podium in Gaditan waters

The Spanish team of SailGP has not been able to say goodbye to Cadiz with that victory that I so expected... despite the good performance on the first day, the lack of wind has made things very difficult for the Spaniards, who have stayed out of the final after which it was the fifth Gaditan manga and second of Sunday. The United States has been the winning team of Spain Sail Grand Prix, 124; Andalusia - Cadiz, in a match with Denmark and Australia.

Good harvest in the Spain Sail Grand Prix, 124; Andalusia - Cadiz... those of Diego Botin have debuted at home in the best of ways, putting the first sleeve of the day in the pocket with a great exit, followed by a sixth and third position.

From the start, the Spanish team has imposed its law and demonstrated to all its competitors that this weekend they play at home. With the good performance that the Spain SailGP Team has offered on the first day of competition, the locals have ended up in third position, leaving them with many options to fight the great end of tomorrow, although there are still two races in which everything can happen.

Without a doubt, the Spanish team seems to have done the duties after the Taranto Grand Prix and the difficulties they had with the exits. With an outstanding start in the first race, the team led by Diego Botin, has quickly taken the lead and demonstrated a strength and superiority that has allowed him to cross the finish line in the first position practically alone.

In the second race, the Spanish team has again starred in a good way that placed it in the upper part of the classification, however, Los Gallos have been forced to return the position to the Canadian team after receiving a penalty at door four. However, in the final meters the success with the Spanish team's strategy has allowed them to recover the sixth position and pass the finish line ahead of their, recently, usual rival.

Finally, in the race that closed the day, the Spaniards have again demonstrated the changes implemented in season 4 and have been placed in the lead with Australia and Denmark. Despite being two of the most prominent teams in the classification, the Spain SailGP Team has planted them with a face ending in third position.

In the first test of the day on the F50 Victoria have flown Diego Botin, Florian Trittel, Joel Rodriguez, Nicole van der Velden, Joan Cardona and Bernardo Freitas. Due to the requirements of the wind conditions, the team has competed in a rare configuration of 5 in the following two races with Nicole van der Velden as Grinder with Joan Cardona.
