Spain meets the goal set in the Slalom World Cup

In London, the organizers prepared a longer circuit than usual (around 80 seconds, when the normal is usually 50 or 60) and where the water of the channel and the placement of the obstacles had hidden complex steps that left the palists in trouble on many occasions
The final day of the Olympic Salom World Championships was devoted in its entirety to the new mode, which will be debuted at the Paris Games 2024, the Kayak Cross.
The competition started with the qualifying series against the crone and there, only three of our participants were able to access the sleeves with three other rivals on track. In girls, only Maialen was able to enter after marking the tenth best record of all participants (only the 20 best times were spent) and in boys, David Llorente and Miquel Travé did the same with the second best chrono and the fifteenth.
In the series, Maialen managed to enter into second goal and got his room ticket, while, in boys, Travé and Llorente had to share series and only the Sage, which he defeated, was able to access the round of the top 16.
The round of rooms was very different, while the Spanish palist beat his manga with solvency, Maialen got the luck to join it. At the time of the third door it was last, but the desire and an unexpected rebound of the second classified, which skipped a door, made the one of Lasarte go to semifinals.
In the penultimate round, Chourraut was paired with Kimberly Woods running at home, just after leaving, the British cornered the Spanish and her downfall ended at that moment, even though she tried, she could only be third of her semifinal and concluded the championship in the fifth position.
Crying for his part, he began his semifirst, but on the first row, a meeting with the French Renia relegated him to the third place, a place he could not leave. The Segovian also ended the competition as the fifth in the world.
In this way the national Olympic Salom team leaves these World Championships with the main objective achieved, that of securing the four possible ships (C1 and K1 male and female) at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, to which to add two more places in the new Olympic mode of the Kayak Cross. In addition, the female team K1 added the only medal in our country in the championship, a silver on the first day of the event. A competition that was dominated by the British combined.
