It was presented in the press room of the Concello de Vigo, the International Concello de Vigo Trophy, which will be the reference block of the Abanca Week, which this year is called the Rías Baixas I version, of the multinational competition referred in our country that coordinates by the Club Marítimo de Vigo, who works as a team with entities and clubs of all Galicia... as well as with the federations of sailing, pyragüism, rowing and nautical skiing... the Xeral Secretariat for or Sport of the Xunta de Galicia, and in its case the Higher Council of Sports.

The event was chaired by the Vigo sports concelleiro Manel Fernández... as representative of the Organizing Committee attended by the president of the Galician Federation of Piragüismo Fredi Bea, by the Liceo de Bouzas its president Miguel Pereira, by the Marítimo de Canido Antonio Ruiloba, by that of Vigo Zulema Prado and Franco Cobas, by Marinetea Carlos Pérez, by Virazo Antonio Iglesias... as well as José Luis Romero de Abanca, Pablo Louro de Gadis, and Cristina Blanco de Adegas Valmiñor, who joined the panel of the Abanca.

The first act of the Concello de Vigo Trophy in the Cis Island Regatta Camp, with the Maritime Canido Club of host. The ILCA Iberian Cup level competition in its junior versions (4), female Olympic (6) and male Olympic (7), in race will compete 150 laser from all over Spain and Portugal, on September 16 and 17.

The Piragüismo International will be the second act, and as usual will be held by the Olívico Piragüismo Club that presides José Angel Besada, and the support of the Marinetea society with Carlos Pérez at the front.

In total there will be more than two hundred palists, who will compete in sea kayak those who will fight for victory in the cadet, juvenile, junior, senior and master categories... in the male and female divisions. The competition will be based on the ETEA and its race field... the water sheet of Rande's inlet.

The kayak tests will begin at the edge of the four o'clock on Saturday 23, by the Olívico and Marinetea Piragüism Club, with the support of the Galician Federation of Piragüismo and the Royal Spanish Federation.

The third event, the traditional Vila de Bouzas- Regata Adegas Valmiñor that organizes the Maritime Liceo... the vicedecan of the Galician nautical. The illusion of its president, the Olympic Miguel Pereira, who already achieved in the last edition to overcome the historical barrier of 50 ships... is at least to stay at this level of participants.

This competition that will close the Concello de Vigo Trophy will take place on October 6 and 7... and will enjoy the category of being the Galician Cruise Championship, as well as having the Iberian vitola of the classes of two and three crew... having also at stake the Antonio Diego Trophy, historic president of the Bouzas club.

After the Concello de Vigo Trophy, the Abanca Week will have three more versions: the Rías Baixas II version (with competitions in the Ria de Vigo), the Rías Baixas III version (based on the Ria de Pontevedra) and finally the Rías Altas version that is held entirely in A Coruña.
