The race calendar of the Royal Maritime Club of the Abra-Real Sporting Club, immersed in its 125th anniversary, continued with the dispute of the tenth edition of the El Correo Trophy. It started on a very hot day in the Cantabric when the race committee gave the exit, at first with a 14-kt south wind and then fall to the six and roll to the northwest.
After the dispute of the first routes, the Maitena of Mikel Emaldi is the first leader in the Regata class; the Bacilón of José Miguel Franco is in Cruciero I; the Kohen of Juan Carlos Estefanía in Cruciero II; and the Kiwi of Felix Moneo among the monotypes of the J80 division.
The title's defender Maitena first took in the Regata class, on a 17-mile outside Abra tour, ending after the time compensated ahead of the Symphony of Javier Onaindia, the Alpega of Alfonso Churruca and the Rat Pack of Javier-varri.
On the other hand, after the 11 miles sailed in Class 1, the Bacilon was imposed, where it will have the opposition of the Marmotinha of Koldo Báez and the Nexus of Javier Trueba, second and third. The Sprits and the Kribi follow them.

The Royal Maritime Club of the Abra-Real Sporting Club, following the successful Spanish Championship Snipe- Juan Manuel Alonso Allende, continues with an intense month of September in which it is now the turn for the first day of the X Trophy El Correo.
It begins on Saturday in the Vizcaina waters of the Abra with the routes for ships of the Cruise class and monotypes J80. This initial test will be followed by those of 30 of this same month, in addition to those of 7 and 21 October, in order to decide the most regular vessels in the different classes.
During the days of navigation last year the best were the Maitena of Mikel Emaldi in the Regata class, the Kribi of Juanma Pereiro, in Cruciero I, the Ramper of Jairo López of Guevara, in Cruciero II, and the Obelix of Pablo Gomeza in the J80 class.
