Finally, in the category of professionals, José Castro "Nolito" de Vigo was defeated, being the silver for the Coruñés Carlos Montero and the bronze for the also Herculino Juan Salgado... who is one of the great veterans of the Spanish Wakeboard.
At the rock rate at the excellent facilities of the Fornelos Wake Club, he had the fun and youth-filled award at the last hour of Sunday... as if from a wink to the prestigious Vigo Marisquiño. The Abanca Week enters with the youngest nautical in Fornelos... and will continue at the end of September in the Cí Islands Regatas Field with the Windsurfing Spanish Formula Championship and the iQFoil Spanish Cup... by the hand of the Canido Maritime Club.

The Dummies Club of Ourense proclaimed itself the absolute winner of the Iberian Open of Nautical Skiing that was held a day at the Cortegada Skiing Track, in which half a hundred riders of the Atlantic side of the Peninsula participated. The Club chaired by Jacobo Pereira won three of the five categories: Minislalom, Slalon Infantil, Hyperminis... being second in Slalom Senior and Slalom Sub17.
For the second Sunday event organized by the Galician Federation of Nautical Skiing: it will be from 11: 00 in the morning at the Pista de Cable-Wakeboard de Fornelos de Montes in the province of Pontevedra, in which the participation of a thirty riders of the Spanish and Lusitana federations is confirmed.

It was not an easy day to live this Saturday in Cortegada, for at the beginning of the second manga there was in this area of the Miño River, a massive electric storm, accompanied by a persistent rain, with a timeless wind.
It is worth noting the numerous participation of new skiers, many of whom have started this season their sports trip in this nautical specialty... the result of this work are the recent three Spanish championships achieved by Galician Riders in the categories Sub10, Sub12 and Sub14.
The absolute winners were among the women Simoneta Suarez of the Dummies of Ourense, the current national champion Sub14 and among the boys Antonio Pascual Ópez- Peña of the Pontevedrés San Telmo de Tui, who recently ranked third of the Spanish Championship and among the top of the World Championship.

The best in Minislalom was Juan Pinal Osorio de Ourense, in Slalom Infantil and in Hiperminis Slalom Nicolás Jimenez del San Telmo de Tiu, in Slalom Sub17 the gold for Antonio Pascual López Peña, while in Slalom Senior the victory for the Madrileño Nicolás Grandjean of the Seseña Botaski de Toledo.
The Abanca Week will return to the inner waters of Ourense with the International Ourense Dependation Trophy of Optimist - Grand Prix April, to be held in the enchorus of Castrelo de Miño from 8 to 10 September. On exit 80 optimist from Spain and Portugal... the host on this occasion the Castrelo Nautical Club that Beatriz Alberte presides.

The Abanca Week in its 2023 edition begins on Saturday in the Pista del Miño of the spa villa of Cortegada; by the hand of the Dummies of Ourense, the Federaciones Galician, Spanish and Portuguese of Nautical Skiing and the Club Marítimo de Vigo, coordinator of this great event, considered as the most important in Spain on the multinational plane.
This year more than 2500 nautical ski athletes, wakeboard, sea kayak, rowing, ergometer rowing, base candle, light candle, monotypes candle, heavy candle and Olympic candle will participate... with several Spanish and Iberian championships and cups at stake, as well as international cutting events, at different points in Galician geography, both from the interior and from the coast.
In Cortegada, the nautical ski competition will bring together a large part of the most prominent Riders of the Peninsula, in which it is called the Trophy Dependation of Ourense, which has at stake the Grand Prix Oils of April... and in which the about half a hundred competitors of the male and female categories will be measured on Saturday in a day that begins at 10: 00 in the morning, to conclude at 5: 00 in the afternoon in the monumental Balneario of Cortegada (which dates from 1937 and which has recently been restored) at the foot of the river Miño, with an exceptionally beautiful award, in a beautiful one.

On the track the categories Hypermini, Mini Slalom, Sub17, Open, Senior and Figures. Among those who will compete on the Orensian track the several times national champion of Figuras... the pontevedrés established in Santiago de Compostela Alvaro Montes, or the Suárez brothers who treasure the current titles at the national level of sub10, sub12 and sub14.
For Sunday's day, the Abanca Week moves to the Pontevedresa villa of Fornelos de Montes, where the Fornelos Wake Club that operates on the excellent track of the Oitavén River, takes the reins of the Iberian of Wakeboard in which three tens of Riders will be gathered, and will be the first competition of this category in Galicia. The tandas will start at 11: 00 in the morning and the closing will be at 6: 00 in the afternoon.
This first Galicia Interior version of the Abanca Week is closed a sailing race based in the Enchorus of Castrelo de Miño organized by the Castrelo Nautical Club... which has aroused a great expectation: the Castrelo de Miño International Trophy, in which the young promises of Spain and Portugal of the optimal class will be measured. The race will take place from 8 to 10 September, and aims at the hand of the Ourense Recession to become an international reference of this kind.
