In addition, the competitions were completed with the Spanish Marathon Cup, which on this occasion already entered the program long distance tests and where were both the K2 and the C2 and in identical categories as in the Spanish Championship test

The Spanish Pyragüismo completed a weekend filled with competitions with three different modalities, Marathon, Dragon Boat and Slalom. All the citations were important, but because of the importance of what was at stake and the high competitiveness in this discipline, the Marathon competition was the one that focused much of the weekend attention.

The Spanish Short Marathon Championship was held on August 11 at the Trasona Embalse in Avilés, which was also a selective test for the remaining places to go to Denmark for the World Championship, which will be held the last week of the month until September 3.

The meeting was attended by 340 participants who left the following champions at the Senior level

Carmen Chaves C1 3800 (Nautico de Sevilla)
Manuel Antonio Campos C1 3800 (Breogán Do Grove)
Eva Barrios K1 3800 (Durius Kayak Zamora)
Ivan Alonso K1 3800 (Vikinga Romeria of Catoira)

These were the classifications that gave color and environment to Spanish pyragüism on these festive dates.
