First day of the twenty-fourth edition of the Sotogrande Cup with the race of the class of Catamaranes that has given as winner to the boat of the Real Club Marítimo de Sotogrande patroniada by Antonio Oriol and as crew Laura Oriol.

The second one has been for Jaime Brujó as master and Jacobo Brujó as crew. And the third place for the catamaran will be patrolled by Enrique Benjumea and with Enrique Benjumea Jr. as a crew member.

For their part the cruises and monotypes will complete a coastal and a barlovento-sotavento route, respectively.

The reference race of the south in the waters of the Strait, this weekend organized by the Maritime of Sotogrande

The twenty-fourth edition of the Sotogrande Cup heavy sailing competition will take place in the waters of the Strait, this weekend under the organizational baton of the Royal Sotogrande Maritime Club, Puerto Sotogrande and the Andalusian Vela Federation.

This event will serve as a stage for the development of the ORC Championship of Andalusia Cruises that has in play a trophy in memory of Antonio Muñoz Cabrero.

The program of this sports event will begin on Friday at 10: 00 in the morning with the registration of the participants and the catamarans tests... On Saturday the tests of ORC and Monotypes will be held, followed by the competitions of Sunday that will culminate with the closing ceremony, in which the awards and trophies will be delivered.
