ANEN report between January and July 4674 vessels have been registered
These are the data collected in the "Report of the market for recreational boats... Enero- julio2023," edited by ANEN from the data provided by the General Directorate of the Merchant Navy (Photo Pedro Seoane)
The nautical market has recorded 4,674 registration of recreational boats until July of this year, the growth of which is concentrated on water motorcycles and on vessels up to six metres long.
Of the total number of registrations, 2,908 are for private-use vessels (62.2%) and 1,766 for rental vessels (37.8%), which is growing in the period under review by 10.4%.
"The nautical season is in line with the forecasts of the year. The demand in the charter market continues to rise, almost double the growth of the 2022 market, companies offering nautical activities and Nautico-sports facilities remain very active, which places nautical tourism among the holiday proposals with great growth potential," says Jordi Carrasco, CEO of ANEN.

The smaller length, up to 6 meters, is the segment that focuses the growth of the nautical market in the year, with an increase in enrolment of 13.2%, and a market share of 72.2%. The rest of the length is still negative.
