The Real Club Náutico de Palma hosted on Friday the traditional cut of the tape that inaugurates the meeting queen of the season, which officially starts tomorrow Saturday with the first of the two days reserved for recording equipment and measurements

All set in motion for a new edition of the great Mediterranean heavy sail date... The Magna Room of the Royal Nautical Club of Palma hosted this Friday, the opening of the Mapfre King's Cup with the celebration of the event of the cut-off that has served as the official gunshot of the forty-first edition. In front of it, eight days of event - six of them of competition and two of registration and mediations - with a hundred teams from 16 countries that will fight in Palma Bay to become the new champions of the race.

The appointment officially starts tomorrow Saturday with the first day of registration and measurements for the participating teams, and it will be Monday when the fleet is premiered in the regatta field of Palma Bay.

The 41 Copa del Rey Mapfre is organized by the Real Club Náutico de Palma and the Real Federación Española de Vela, with the institutional collaboration of the Govern de les Illes Balears, the City Council of Palma, the Autoritat Portuaria de Balears and the Federación Balear de Vela.
