The piragüismo in quiet Spanish waters met in the reservoir of Ponlón de Castro de Verducido, Pontevedra, for the dispute of the LIV Spanish Olympic Sprint Championship in Junior and Senior category that was held on ships K1, K2, K4, C1, C2 and C4 and at the distances of 200, 500 and 1000 meters, to which the Paracanoe was added.

In the half-hectare, the one that ended on the top of the podium was Adrián Sieiro who was accompanied by Martin Jácome and Pablo Crespo.

Maria Corbera also did not miss the appointment of Verducido and won at C1 500 ahead of Valeria Oliveira. In the short distance, the winning male quartet was that of the Club Escuela Piragüismo Aranjuez de Miguel González, Diego González, Hugo Pedrero and Javier Lobillo. In the girls, those of the Nautico de Sevilla conquered the gold thanks to the work of Elena Gómez, Carmen Chaves, Loreto Macho and Marta García de la Borbolla.

In the K1 200 kayaks, in the pure speed race, the gold, in the male category was for Carlos Garrote, ahead of Carlos Arévalo, while it was Sara Ouzande, defeating Teresa Tirado, who took the gold.

In the distance of 500 meters, it was Iñigo Peña who conquered the gold, winning Álex Granieri and in women, the golden presea conquered the extreme Estefanía Fernández in front of Carolina García.

In the 1000 meters, the Tudense and Mérida reshowed their power and defeated with a single change in their crew, that of Albert Martí for Raimon Gastaldo and that of Teresa Tirado for Irene Villalba.
