The Spanish team has won its first event in the history of SailGP, after three seasons, the F50 Victoria has first crossed the finish line at the end of the Oracle Los Angeles Sail Grand Prix, 124; Port of Los Angeles.

The Spanish with Los Angeles has been a film romance full of emotion, determination and a little epic. The second day of competition, the Spain SailGP Team began with an overwhelming victory in race 5, but with a ninth position in the second race of the day that almost left them out of the final, but thanks to pure mathematics, they have been able to sneak into their deserved place.

That dream that Los Gallos yearned for when they saw some of their idols in full competition was finally made reality in California waters. The Oracle Los Angeles Sail Grand Prix, 124; Port of Los Angeles has been a talisman and witness to the great work of the Spanish who have made history.

After a season 2 where they played three finals, in Taranto, Saint-Tropez and Sydney, but did not win any, a third season came where the team failed to qualify for any. A season of learning, work, potholes and changes that has begun to bear fruit in this beginning of season 4.

After getting a fifth job in the wind city, the Spanish team are preparing to fly in the Pacific this weekend, the aim of the Spaniards is to continue with the good work and try to strengthen positions on the table and demonstrate its potential. The team arrives with the duties done and since its arrival in Los Angeles has studied the race field and its determining exits.

The New Zealand Stewart Dodson, is incorporated as a new grinder of the Spanish team, thus completing the leading team for season 4. He is an athlete who comes from a family with nautical tradition and has been competing since he was a child.

Stewart has participated in the Red Bull Youth America's Cup, where, curiously, his team won the Cocks in Bermuda and the Extreme Sailing Series. One of the greatest achievements in his career is the achievement of the world's bicampionate on the Match Racing Tour.
