For his part, his young brother Alvaro, with two third parties and a fifth place, got the subchampionship, demonstrating his good adaptation to the ship in a short time. The third position was obtained by Alfonso Jaudenos with a fifth, a fourth and a seventh in his locker..
Finally the American Nicolás García- Castillón would end up in the third position of the cambinada general after a quarter, a sixth and a second were scored.

On Saturday and Sunday, Gijón hosts a new championship of light sailing Asturias, on this occasion of the ILCA 6 one of the boats chosen by the School of Sailing of the Gijón Regatta Club to train its students.
At 3.30 p.m. on Saturday, 15 July, the competition will begin, with six sleeves, three per day. It is essential to complete at least two races to give validity to the Championship.
Fernando Alonso has been the winner in the last two editions, and is certainly the rival to beat.
