The Real Club de Regatas de Alicante has today presented in the space Punta Piedra, the twenty-second edition of the TabarcaVela Diputación de Alicante... which will be held in the waters of the bay from 13 to 16 July, in the waters of Alicante.
The president of the centenary club has been accompanied by Regata's director, Nuria Sánchez Nomdedeu. RCRA representatives have emphasized that this year's edition is the most social and open of those held to date.
To date, the test has almost a hundred registered vessels from Andalusia, the Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands, Catalonia, Valencia, Galicia and the Murcia Region. It also has international participation with flag ships from Finland, Great Britain and the Netherlands.
70 ships have already registered... and there will be eight participating classes, ORC 0-1, ORC 2, ORC 3, ORC 4, ORC 5, City & Beach Women, Promo Club and Dragon.
The great news is the monotypic classes Alicante City & Beach Women and Dragon. As for the Dragon class, the four units of Vicente García's hand stand out, with the new creation of this fleet of beautiful ships in our club.
As for the ORC classes, in division 0-1 stands out the participation of two winning ships of the Mapfre King's Cup, DK46 Hydra-HM Hospitals and the Swan Fish of April. In group 2 there are other very strong ships such as the Maverta Defcom Seguridad and Fandango 300... in ORC 3 is the cruise of the Tanit IV Medilevel Regatta Club by María José Vila and in ORC 4 the Enewec.
