The duo Fabio Bruggioni-Andre Rosa, from the Real Club Náutico de Madrid, have been imposed in the twenty-fourth edition of the Regata Carlos del Castillo de Snipe, which organized another year, the Real Club Astur de Regatas... immersed in the Circuito Nacional de Snipe.

The Spanish champion of the Snipe class in 2022, the balear, Víctor Pérez of the Club Marítimo San Antonio de la Playa and Luca Rosa Bruggioni, of the Real Club Náutico de Madrid, lead the first day of the XXIV Memorial Carlos del Castillo de Snipe, a test organized by the Real Club Astur de Regatas de Gijón.
The second position is for Fabio Bruggioni and Andrea Rosa, from Real Club Náutico de Madrid, closing the podium the Gallegos, Roberto Bermudez and Martín Mijares, from Club Marina Coruña.

On Friday, the twenty-fourth edition of the race created in memory of the unforgettable Carlos del Castillo, with the registration of participants in the race office that will be located in the area of varada, in the central espgon of the Puerto Deportivo de Gijón.
A test with a great tradition at the national level and the most emblematic light sailing of the Real Club Astur de Regatas. The Trophy has the collaboration of the Federation of Sailing of the Principality of Asturias and the Spanish Association of the International Class Snipe and is part of the national circuit of the class.
This edition is in addition to the twenty-two editions of the SAR Cup the Prince of Asturias, which the Gijonese club organized between 1963 and 1986, making this competition for ships of the Snipe class the most classic date of the sailing in Asturias. The Carlos del Castillo Memorial has been held since 1999 in homage to Carlos del Castillo Bertrand, initiator and precursor of the sailing sport and the Snipe class in Asturias.
Provision for participation
Among those listed are the Spanish champion, Víctor Pérez, of the Club Marítimo San Antonio de la Playa; the French champion, Jean Jacos Frebault, of the Club de Vela de Arcachon; and the Belgian subchampion, Jan Peeters, of the Club de Vela de Galgenweel (Antwerp), the champion of the Cup of Europe in 2011; as well as Gustavo del Castillo, the Real Club Náutico de Gran Canaria, five times the champion of Spain, three times the champion of Europe and twice the world subchampion, which already won the trophy in 2020; Martín Bermudez de la Puertico de Europa, two times in the two times in the Club of the Párito of the Párito of the Pático de Gala.
