The European Dream Cup premiered with Spanish participation

Six Regatists of the Vilassar de Mar Nautical Club participate in the student challenge in which ten European teams take part
The Lake of Garda has been hosting the European Dream Cup since the first of the month, in which six regatists of the Vilassar de Mar Nautical Club, accompanied by two coaches, participate.
The project supported by the European Union through the Erasmus + Sports programme aims to promote sport, inclusion, sustainability and new technologies through sailing and navigation with fils.
The Vilassar de Mar Náutico Club is thus the Spanish representative at the European Dream Cup, a new international race format, a great non-profit sports event that takes place from 1 to 15 July at Circolo Vela Gargnano, where 10 crews from 10 European countries, made up of young people between 13 and 18 years old, meet.
It is an event that includes seminars, conferences and ground experiences, as well as training and water races on board the boat with hypertechnological fire Persico 69Fs, the only one design monocasco with fire for crews, very similar to those that make millions of viewers from around the world dream during the America's Cup.
The participating regatists are Roger Sanromà Trabal, Daniel Moron Mayoral, Marina Boj Arevalo, Nicole Zapata Briceño, Sergi Garreta Trias, April Majem Sala, accompanied by coaches Marc Tello Pons and Marina Giralt Casanovas.
The European Dream Cup is developed in Lake Garda, a well-known international navigation site and the headquarters of world-famous races such as the Centomiglia or the Lake Garda Meeting Optimist. During the race, the Sailing Village has been installed, a meeting point for sailors, local and tourists, which is transformed into a theatre for training and challenges among young people, with numerous talks, workshops and laboratories.
