18 Spanish regatists participate until Saturday in the iQFOiL Youth European that is disputed in Lake Garda, in the heart of alpine Italy

From Monday to the next Saturday, the Italian town of Torbole hosts the Youth European Championship of the new Olympic class iQFOiL, with the participation of 18 Spanish athletes, 16 of them from the national discipline team.

With two accepted categories, SUB17 and Sub19, the Spanish inscription in Sub17 includes the baleares Marta Juncal, Caterina Tomás, Jorge Ruiz, Jordi Cerdá and Enric Pariño; the Andalusian Antonio Medina; the Catalans Sandro Portune and César Alonso; Martina Mantovani of the Valencia Community; and Azul Sánchez of the Autonomous City of Melilla.

In Sub 19 the Canaries Enrichetta Bettini and Álvaro Jimenez participate; the Andaluza Arancha Sahuquillo; and the baleres Adriana Patiño, Barbara Winau, Lluis Pérez, Javier Hernández and Ramón Villalonga.

The competition includes a classification series after which the fleet will be divided into groups Oro, Plata and Bronze for the final series. After five days of competition the Top10 will be established that on Saturday, will fight for the European scepter in the Medal Series.
