This weekend the waters of the Ria de Arousa hosted the regional classification phase of the Women's Regata, with women representatives who have defended the grympolas of entities such as the Riveira Nautical Sports Club, Mount Real Club of Bayona Yates, Real Nautical Club of Sanxenxo and Real Nautical Club of Vigo that carried two teams for this event of vital relevance.

The nautical Viguese was precisely made with the first two positions, putting in the great end of September his first team, that formed by Daniela Mariño Barciela, María Núñez Rodríguez, Ana de Fátima Pillado Domínguez and Paloma Pedrosa Egaña.

The silver was also for the olive representatives, with Carlota Catalán Arppe, María Pazó Cruz, Helena Alcaraz Valtuille and Paula Ríos Montes.

The bronze was going for the Real de Sanxenxo, represented in this women's race by Mencía Casas Casas- Arruti, Liang Jane García, Carmen Carrillo Iglesias, Roberta Mariz Pérez and Eva Maquieira.

The Royal Galician Federation of Vela organized the Regata de la Mujer, coordinated through the Galician de Vela Center that regains in Vilagarcía de Aroua and with the aim of promoting female sports.

Eight sleeves were played in the whole, thanks to a northern weather component that on Saturday carried 10 knots of intensity and on Sunday, with the same direction, up to 12.

From the very first moment, the Vigo team, from the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo, ran for victory, leaving four first, the same as in the Sunday day.
