Well Izquierdo retests the windsurfing elite from 1 to 9 July during the 35 edition of the PWA World Cup in Gran Canaria, one of the most demanding tests of the international circuit of the Professional Windsurfers Association, which will have this year with the participation of more than 150 windsurfers among all disciplines.
The Gran Canaria PWA Windsurf World Cup 2023 will have, in addition to the professionals, the youth categories Sub13, Sub17 and Sub20, both male and female, and for the first time there will be Master + 40 and + 45 in the Olas mode. From 1 to 9 July, the Riders will be installed on the beach of Pozo Izquierdo, ready for what will be one of the toughest tests of the international circuit and one of the few stops of the PWA Windsurfing World Cup 2023 at which will compete in both Olas and Slalom.
The PWA World Windsurf Championship is sponsored by the Grand Canaria Cabildo, through the sports and tourism councils; the Tourism area of the Government of the Canary Islands; the City of Saint Lucia of Tirajana; in addition to private companies such as Red Bull, Windsurf Journal, DailyDose.de, Jaklar, Poema del Mar, Loro Parque Foundation, Seven Island Film, Surf Magazin, Volkswagen, WS, WIND, SURF, Waterspeed, AS Action, among others.
