It took place at the School of Vela de Alocén in the province of Guadalajara, the second edition of the Clinic of initiation to the races in the sport of Windsurf 2023... organized by the Federation of Vela de Castilla la Mancha, the main objectives being the technical and tactical improvement of the young athletes of this modality of Vela, being other purposes of this federative activity the coexistence and the allocation of ships with which the windsurfers will be able to carry out autonomous training during the months of July, August and September.

A total of 14 young people attended these two technical days... Sandra del Villar and Alfonso Tertre, were the Federation technicians on which the organization and development of these two days of windsurfing training were based... both are graduates in physical education, windsurfing technicians and experts regatist Raceboard and Windsurfing Formula respectively.

The young attendees also became familiar with the different types of Windsurf competition, such as the Techno 293, Slalom, Formula, Foil and Raceboard classes... at the end of the Clínic and during the delivery of diplomas, both technicians wanted to emphasize all aspects related to safety in aquatic sports practice.

In addition, Tertre noted the importance of involving families in all the projects of sports sailing technology, since it is the mothers or parents who in most cases have to move windsurfers to a reservoir or beach and help them in the transport and assembly of the ships and their gear.

On the part of the regional sailing Federation and its technicians, it is of the utmost interest to transfer to the young generations of windsurfers, values such as respect for and care of the environment and others such as companionship and solidarity, taking as the main focus of windsurfing sports activities, to ensure that an individual sport, such as windsurfing, can be an enriching collective sports experience.

Castile la Mancha, being a community of the peninsular interior, has navigable reservoirs in the five provinces that are part of the region and no doubt many of natural aquatic spaces are excellent places to start in the practice of navigation to Vela and Windsurfing.
