This weekend, in the Bay of San Lorenzo, the second day of the Summer Trophy of Vela Ligera of the Royal Astur Club of Regatas of Gijón was held.
In the Snipe class, Francisco Silvela and Angela Pumariega who premiered in the Trophy won the two sleeves of the day and are placed in the seventh place of the general. The brothers, Germán and Iñigo Alvarez-Hevia, ended up in second and sixth position and are third in the table, while Alvaro Alegría and Vanessa Rodríguez with a quarter and a second occupy the second square of the classification, which leads the couple formed by José Palacio and Pablo López, with a sixth and a third in their locker.
After two disputed days the general classification is very tight in the upper area with few points of difference between the first five classified.
However, in class ILCA 6, Fernando Alonso's domain is absolute with a full of victories, four out of four, is the undisputed leader. His brother Alvaro is second, with a second and a third in the day. The third square is for Julio Riba that would end in third and second position the day.
In ILCA 4, Marta Suarez was the best to score a first and a second, up to the third place of the general. For its part, Gonzalo Jaudenos after finishing in fourth position the first sleeve and winning the second one is placed at the front of the classifying table. The second position in the general is for Marina Menéndez fifth in the two sleeves.
In Optimist, Marta Simal shines with her own light, being the best in the class, has won the four sleeves disputed so far and is again the favorite to take the Trophy. The second place in the general is occupied, Alejandro Fernández second and third in the day followed very closely by Alma Pérez third and second, and only one point from the second classified.

In the Snipe class, José Palacio and Pablo López were the fastest in the two contested sleeves across the line of arrival in first position. The German and Iñigo Alvarez-Hevia brothers who had been in dry dike for several months, are placed seconds in the general after a quarter and a second. The third position on the table is for Alvaro Alegría and Vanesa Rodríguez, seconds and fifths in the day.
Aida Marqués and Carlos Fernández are placed in front of RS Feva's classification, after finishing seconds in the first manga and winning the second, tied to points with, Miguel Ribera and Hugo López also with a first and a second in their locker. The third square is for the couple formed by Alfonso Fombona and Sara González with two third.
Among the Optimist, Marta Simal was again the best to win the two very outstanding sleeves, the second position in the general is for, Alejandro Fernández, with a third and second followed by Alma Pérez to a point of the second classified.
In ILCA 6, a very disputed duel between the brothers Fernando and Alvaro Alonso who sailed very well in both sleeves, in the end Fernando's veterania was again determined by the two sleeves followed very closely by Alvaro. Marta Suárez, with a quarter and a third, occupies the third place in the provisional general.
Finally in ILCA 4, Pablo Suárez leads the class after winning the second manga and finishing the first in third position. The second square tied to points with Pablo is for, Héctor García who won the first race and finished in third place the second, followed by Marina Menéndez with a fifth and a second place.
