The award was held today, after a lunch of fraternization among the attendees of these days, with the presence by RCNGC of its President Maica López Galán accompanied by Alejandro Martín and Manuel Padrón comandoro and vice-comandoro of the current Board of Directors and by the Foundation, its Vice President Nela Da Silva accompanied by Ana Villavicencio vocal and representative of its patron. After the drawing of different awards donated by different companies, the heel resulting from the collection of this solidarity event was delivered, worth 7,300 euros.

For the fifth year, the Real Club Náutico Gran Canaria and Abrandia organized the solidarity race for the Alejandro Da Silva Foundation, a non-profit organization that has been fighting leukemia since 1989.

It was four days of competition and nautical activities for all audiences. The usual Nautic regatists participated in a Trophy with several sports tests for the Optimist, Ideal 18, Techno 293, ILCA, Snipe, 420, IQFoil and Cruises classes.

The parents of these athletes also had the opportunity to enjoy and contribute their granite of sand to this solidarity initiative, carrying out a fun race designed for them in the Optimist class, the most individual and the rookies in the company of their children, who did not hesitate to help their parents, in the work of leading these small boats.
