The shooting crew ended in the fifteenth position of the general, octaves per country, among 64 participants

Today, Kiel Week, an international competition that began on June 17 and in which the 49th crew of Albert Torres and Elías Aretz, which ends in the Top10 by country, has taken part, has finished in the tenth of the general competition, among 64 participants from 23 countries.

This result comes when all the regatists of the Spanish Olympic sailing team have the view set in the Hague World Championship next August, where the first squares per country of the Paris Games will be awarded for the different classes.

In this edition of the Week of Kiel the wind has been the clear protagonist, with very unstable and low intensity days of wind. These weather conditions have led to daily delays in the start of tests and adverse circumstances in the race field.

In its first Olympic campaign, the Dupla has been the only one of the Olympic team with this race on its agenda, as an excellent opportunity to measure with its competitors in competition and thus improve various aspects of its navigation. For them the result is positive and are satisfied with the progression of these days, in which they have felt very comfortable and fast in the field of races. In the eight contested sleeves stands a partial podium with the third position, as well as a seventh and a tenth.

The final podium had Polish color with Przybytek / Piasecki and Buksak / Wierzbicki occupying the first two steps, followed by the Austrians Bildstein and Hussl.
