The Ibiza JoySail has become just two editions in one of the reference races for large-length ships in the Mediterranean.

From 27 to 30 September 2023, coinciding with the end of the summer season, it will hold its third edition which is limited to 20 ships, with STP Shipyard Palma as a place of departure and Marina Ibiza as a host port.

The exclusivity of the Ibiza JoySail, and the fact that it is celebrated in one of the reference marines of the Mediterranean, has encouraged them to want to participate numerous ships of length from 24 meters such as the Swan 80 and Wally 80, passing through the Sourtherwind of almost 100 feet to ships of 50 meters of length like a Royal Huisman 165.

The Swan class, from the beginning, has been betting on the race and in it they repeat ships such as the Moat (Swan115) that defends the title obtained in the first two editions... repeat Hyperion (Frers155), Bliss (YD120), All Smoke (SW-RP90) and Sapma (Swan80)... among the debutants the Prevail (Tripp90), their Captain Paul Middelberg.

Other ships that have confirmed their participation are Borkumriff IV (Royal Huisman165) L'Hippocampe (Swan100), Jasi (Swan115), Aurelius (Dysktra111), Aragon (SW94), Y Not (Y880) and Tilakkhana (Wally80).

If there's an exclusive class this is no other than the J Class. These are exact replicas of the old ships of Copa América. The inclusion of Class J, gives a plus to the Ibiza JoySail, which in this edition has for the moment two units: Topaz and Svea. It will be the first time that the majestic J Class will sail in the waters of Ibiza, and have not hesitated to premiere in the Ibiza JoySail.
