A thirty J80 monotypes in the J80 Lurauto Spanish Championship held in the Vizcaina waters of the hand of the Maritime

Dorsia Covirán, armed by Nuria Sánchez, with José Manuel Ruiz of Pattern, proclaimed himself the winner of the Spanish Championship - Lurauto J80 after the third and last day's dispute on Sunday in the Vizcaina waters of the Abra. An event organized by the Royal Maritime Club of the Abra-Real Sporting Club, which is celebrating this season's 125 anniversary.

In the end the struggle was decided in favor of the Dorsia Covirán of the Real Club of Regatas of Alicante, with 22 points, for the 24 of the Biobizz vizcino of José Azqueta, subchampion, and the 25 of the Fredo La Estrella del Norte de Pichu Torcida, of the Maritime of Santander.

The J80 Biobizz Patronado José Azqueta of the Real Club Marítimo del Abra - Real Sporting Club, leads the Spanish Championship - Lurauto J80, after the first day of competition, in which the conditions in the Vizcaina waters were spectacular, with the winds in place that reached the 20 knots.

Biobizz of José Azqueta, who was proclaimed the J80 world champion in Denmark two seasons ago... has taken advantage, being the second J80 in discord, Dorsia Covirán of Nuria Sánchez, with five points after accumulating a third and a second place. The third square after this first day is for the Portuguese of the María Casas do Telhado Manuel María Cunha who compete for Mount Real Clubde Yates de Baiona, who achieved (2nd and 6th).

The Fredo La Estrella del Norte de Pichu Torcida, one of the favorites, could only be sixth, while Ignacio Camino's also Solintal cantabre ended tenth. The HibLab School of Vela José Luis de Ugarte de Tomás Trueba finished this first day of competition in the 17th square.

There are still two more days left for this Spanish-Lurauto J80 Championship, with departures scheduled for Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 at 12: 00. In total, the tests that are programmed by the organization are nine, three barlovento-sotavento on each day of competition in the outside Abra in a race with a very high level of participation.

Frenzy activity in the Abra Maritime... that is with the organizational turbo to the maximum power

This Thursday the J80 Spanish Championship begins in Las Arenas under the wise and experienced baton of the Royal Maritime Club of the Abra-Real Sporting Club of Getxo and the sponsorship of Lurauto BMW, also of the support of the Diputación de Bizkaia and the Consistory of Getxo... and of El Correo.

A Maritime who this year celebrates its 125 birthday and has great solvency in competitions of this kind, in which it accumulates in the organizational plane three Spanish Cup in the years 2012, 2018 and 2021... a World Cup in 2019... and the women's races, the Women's Sailin Cup, which already accumulates a total of four editions held.

The categories in this Spanish-Lurauto Championship: Absolute, Female, Mixed (at least 40 percent of the crew must be of different gender) and Juvenile, all the component of a crew must have been born in 1998 or following... programming is as follows:

Within the program of this Spanish Championship Lurauto will hold a solidarity concert on Friday 16 in favor of the DalecandELA association, open to all citizens, with live music from the 18 hours with versions of the 60's, 70's and 80's (Funk Sinatra and The Sons of Lee Marvin), as well as DJs, children's activities, food trucks and good atmosphere in this charity initiative.
