The City of Valencia Trophy, for the Cruise ORC fleet and Sportboat class, closes in the Real Club Nautico of Valencia the first of the two days established in its program. It does so by fulfilling the two-test program for all classes, but it also does so with the projected script, with the favorites leading the respective classes, at least in today's day.

The Maverta (RCN of Torrevieja) by Pedro Gil, with two partial triumphs after obtaining the compensated times, is placed leader in the ABC 1-2 fleet. A class that has had the Frers 45 Aquerelle 1 -Varadero Valencia (RCN of Valencia), led by Arturo Meseguer, as the main protagonist in leading in real time from beginning to end and without problems the two tests. The Valencian is 2 points from the torreviejense.

With that chapter closed and clear, the battle has focused on the back and with 40 feet with its particular duel. A momentary triumph in this battle for the Majoche of Alejandro Fliquete, under the grympola of the RCN of Valencia. The First 40.7 partial 4-3 signature, while the IMX 40 X-Cuba, by Toni Garcés (3-5), is fourth. They follow the U.P. Valencia, with José Antonio Gil of pattern, (5-4), fifth, and closing the group GDES-Aerox by Carlos Rosell (6-6), both with a First 40.7.

Few or no surprise has been in the ORC 3 fleet either. The Alicantino Tanit IV-Medilevel (RCR Alicante) of Mª José Vila and with Nacho Campos to the wheel has been first located on the table. Two partial wins after obtaining the compensated times, although in real time it has had to work hard and keep in line the dianense Team Tac (RCN of Denia), armed by Gustavo Gastaldi, who has concluded second today with numbers of 3-2.

The provisional bronze is for the local Neurored, by Ricardo Medem who today left the J99 rod to Juan Merediz. They end this day with 2-3 partials, so it is tied to 5 points with the dianense. Pestañeo, Inquiethyl-Alhambra and Radazul, in this order, complete the classification in ORC 3.

In class ORC 4, the Lassal, by Gonzalo Calvo, is first with two points. The new ship of Calvo, an IY 9.98, has dominated from beginning to end, both in real and in compensated time. Provisional silver for another of the great favorites in Valencia, the Ardora III by Antonio Gaddea, which has added two seconds. The TOM RCNV 2 is left with the bronze by signing partial of 3-3.

Da Vinci, from Ignacio Roig, runs ORC 5. A shared leadership with Kiko Torrent's Strategos IV. Both roles have been reversed, although Roig was starting with a second position, the triumph in the second test makes him stand in front of the Torrent boys, with results of 1-2. A Sea Without Barriers, led today by Roberto Tovar, is third with 6 points.

As for the Sportboat class, the provisional leader is TOM 28 RCNV 2, after adding 2 points. The provisional podium is closed with Da Vinci, with 4 points, and the bronze is left with A Sea Without Barriers with 7 points, in the absence of a day and two planned tests.

It should be recalled that within the framework of the Trophy City of Valencia the Autonomical of Cruises is disputed, with a place in play for the National of the Class, as well as being a valid regatta for the Spanish Sportboat championship.

Tomorrow, second and last day with the top exit to the first test of the day scheduled for 12 noon. A program equal to today's, with two barloventos-sotavento races with two necks and two soups.
