SailGP has announced a new agreement with Mubadala Investment Company, an international investor based in Abu Dhabi, as Global Series Partner. This collaboration unites two avant-garde organizations, and is the continuation of the successful two-year experience with Mubadala as title partner of SailGP Season Grand Final in San Francisco.

The new agreement will be extended during the next three seasons, until the end of 2026. It will focus on three key pillars: building a more sustainable future through collective efforts in sport and business, connecting responsible investment with cutting-edge technology and innovation to boost new ideas, and collectively promoting STEM education and sport at all levels to create ways for talent to grow.

In line with the third pillar, Mubadala will also become a global partner of SailGP Inspire, the league's community and youth commitment programme with a balanced gender perspective, whose aim is to build a more inclusive sport from the base, while promoting diversity, inspiring change and accelerating inclusion. Through its three tracks - careers, learning and racism - the program has reached over 14,665 young people from all over the world.

Mubadala's dedication to the championship also extends to becoming the main partner of the new New York Sail Grand Prix, to be held on 22 and 23 June 2024. The Mubadala New York Sail Grand Prix, one of the biggest events of the season with a regatta field relocated on Governors Island, will offer fans exciting career conditions with the iconic Manhattan skyline and the Statue of Freedom as a backdrop... Mubadala will join SailGP's leading partners with Rolex as host and Oracle and NEAR as global partners for SailGP's 4 season, which will begin on June 16 and 17, 2023 with the Rolex United States Sail Grand Prix in Chicago, at the Navy Pier.
