The competition an advance of the World Cup of Optimist and has brought together the 197 best regatists of Optimist of the World... has been held from 1 to 4 June at the Club de Vela Ballena Alegre with a total of 11 tests

Joan Domingo and Iker Múgica del Nàutic Cambrils have taken part in the 2023 Costa Brava Spring Cup - Optimist Regatta of the hand of AECIO as part of the Spanish team and competing with 197 regatists from a total of 26 countries.

The tests began on Friday, June 2 and were extended until Sunday, when the last three races were held, resulting in Joan Domingo fourth of the general and Iker Múgica sixth. Excellent results taking into account the high level of all participants.

In fact the Costa Brava Spring Cup is a previous to the World Cup of Optimist, which will be held from June 15 to 25 and will take part in it after being classified thanks to the sum of good results of this season.
