We are left with one of the great workers of the Spanish candle: José Luis Tuya

Life man, sportsman and entrepreneur, encouraged the sport of sailing at both the organizational and federal levels
During the morning of last Thursday, José Luís Tuya, one of the sailing parents in our country, has left us at the age of 90, who, with work and tenderness, has helped to promote and strengthen our sport for the last 30 years... a good man, who worked for our sport with interest and great sympathy.
Of an adventurous and multifaceted nature, he loved both the candle and the engine, taking part in gestures and the expedition Madrid- Moscow in Vespa, back and forth, in the late 1960s, from the Puerta del Sol to the Red Square.
In the face of the sea, he was president of the Federation Madrifuela de Vela for more than 15 years, as well as director of the Real Federación Española de Vela with Miguel Company, Arturo Delgado and Gerardo Pombo.
He was also a great driver of the cruise sailing by getting involved in the organization of all kinds of races, as were the Olympic Games in Barcelona.
