Pablo Arararte (WindWhisper) and Chuny Bermudez de Castro (Mirpuri / Trifork) are two of the patterns of a fleet that will have five other Spanish regatists

The VO65 fleet in The Ocean Race rejoins The Ocean Race, a relationship that had broken in Cape Verde... the Polish-flagged WindWhisper Racing Team won the stage from the Mediterranean to the Atlantic, and Team JAJO and the Austrian Ocean Racing powered by Team Genova completed the podium.

The VO65 have been quoted in Aarhus, to meet again with The Ocean Race before the second stage of the VO065 Sprint. The WindWhisper Racing Team is in Aarhus for several days, training before the start of the sixth stage... and has been the most mature in the group.

The Ambersail will not compete in the last two stages of The Ocean Race VO65 Sprint, while the Mirpuri Foundation Racing Team has forged a new collaboration with the Danish company Trifork for the last two stages of the event.

The experienced Coruñés oceanic pattern Chuny Bermudez de Castro will be the patron of the Mirpuri / Trifork Racing Team... the Herculine Carlos Bermudez, son of Chuny, and the vineyard Gonzalo Araujo will also be part of the crew.

In the last hour of today, we were confirmed the presence of another Spanish in the VO65 of Chuny... it is the Alicantino regatist, Gonzalo Infante, joins the team of the Coruñés... so on this ship will also wave the grympola of the Real Club de Regatas de Alicante.

Gonzalo Infante is 42 years old and in addition to being the meteorologist, he has crossed the Atlantic on a multicasco ship, participated in the 2007 American Cup, made five Ironman media and with his father has crossed Patagonia by bicycle. With his participation in this edition of The Ocean Race... and his Copa América and the Vela World Cup, he brings quality doses to the team.

The teams will meet in Aarhus in the days before the In Port race, which will be on June 4, and then the VO65 will sail directly to The Hague (without the Kiel pass beacon), with the departure on June 8. The last stage of the VO65 Sprint will take the fleet to Genoa (Italy) for the Grand Final of The Ocean Race.
