Many students and students of the IES San Isidro, were surprised by the waters of the reservoir of Entrepeñas, and said they would like the Tajo River to be as clean as it passed through the province of Toledo, both in the capital and in Talavera de la Reina.

A group of 39thirty-nine students and fourth-year students from ESO of the IES San Isidro de Talavera de la Reina (Toledo) and three teachers made a study trip to meet the Guadalajareña region of the Alcarria and to practice nautical sports in the reservoir of Entrepeñas in the province of Guadalajara.

When they arrived at the municipality of Alocén, they were received in the municipality by their mayor, Jesús Ayuso, who explained to them what life is like in the villages of the Alcarria and the importance of supporting the municipalities located in the so-called "depopulated Spain."

To point out, as an important fact, that both the Alcarroña de Alocén and Talavera de la Reina are linked by the Tajo River that passes through both municipalities.

After the end of the visit to the village of Alocén, they stayed at the Hostel / School of Sailing in the same town, where for three days and coordinated by two of their teachers of Physical Education, José Luis Hernández and Alfonso Tertre, they conducted practical classes of nautical sports such as pyragüism, sailing, Windsurfing and Paddle Surf. At all times, they were supported by monitors from the School of Sailing in Alocén.

The days of stay in Alocén were very windy, so the sailing activity was one of the most successful sports.

Three groups of 12 to 14 students were formed and each was rotated by the different aquatic modalities.

In the second of the days that they were in the youth hostel of the municipality, they made a tour to see the beautiful places of the pine trees of Alocén.

To highlight the students' high interest in the practice of water sports and to know the importance of the Tajo River in the autonomous community of Castilla la Mancha.
