La Regata Aister de Solitarios ya es toda una clásica en el Calendario Gallego

The Aister Regatta of Solitaries is already a classic in the Galician Calendar

The Bouzas Maritime Liceo by the new board of directors chaired by José María Martínez Bosch, has taken an important step after leaving the Xoan Ramón Carballo presidency that brought the Club out of the dark, achieving the legalization of its Sports Port and the economic sanitation of the Entity. The Bosch team, which arrived in Vigo a twenty years ago as a delegate of the prestigious marine company International, does not stop organizing events, both of cultural cut (linked to the world of nautical), as well as itself sports.

This is the case of the Aister Regatta of Solitaire and Two Navigators, which completed its thirteenth edition and was again a complete success. The test was expected to be a return to the Cis Islands, but the adverse weather conditions forced an offshore route by the Ria de Vigo with 25.8 miles of route. The winner in A Two was "Menudeta" by Francisco Carrión, followed by the Namaste of Luis de Mira who was only separated 35 seconds from the winner, with the bronze being for Vicente Cid with his "Deep Blue." In this category they managed to complete nine ships the journey: in addition to the mentioned "Baltea" of Jesus Blanco, "Ay Carmela" of Juan Martínez Pazó, "Náutico Cormorán"; "Marara 4" and "Droopoy Uno."

Among the solitaries the best was "Fetch" by Jorge Lago Piñeiro. Silver and bronze for Guillermo Caamaño with "Alumisel" and Juan Ignacio Campos with "Norín Uno."
