This competition helps to train young people at the José Luis de Ugarte School of Vela

On a Sunday with a lot of heat and wind from the north of seven to ten knots it was decided in the waters of the Abra to the winners of the Go Sailing Shop of light sail, organized by the Royal Abra Maritime Club-Real Sporting Club. They sold Jon Berastegui and Vera Aguirre in the FEVA class; Andrea Periotto in Optimist 1; and Álvaro Barquín in Optimist 2.

The FEVA class favorites, Jon Berastegui and Vera Aguirre outnumbered Pablo Oraá and Eliza Parmar by two points. Ignacio Murcia and Ivan Sales completed the podium. On the other hand, Andrea Periotto was the one who shone most in the Optimist class, with Nicolás Bastard second and Bruno Miguvarri third. Already in Optimist 2 won Alvaro Barquín, with Alfonso Domingo in the second square and Ana Arriola in the third.

This test has consisted of a succession of sailing days for the regatists of the School of Vela José Luis de Ugarte in several classes. This was the third and last act of the Go Sailing Shop-Getxo League Trophy, after which the gifts for the first classified were delivered outside the School. These competitions are very positive for young apprentices from the team of this club of Las Arenas to develop their experiences in the Vizcaina waters of the Abra. They improve their knowledge for other championships in which they usually take part throughout the season.

2023-06-02: Finish the Go Sailing Shop Light Sailing Trophy in the Abra

This competition is a great training for the young people of the School of Vela José Luis de Ugarte

The Real Club Marítimo del Abra-Real Sporting Club continues during this sailing season 2023 with a succession of sailing days for its regatists from the School of Vela José Luis de Ugarte.

This Sunday is the third and last episode of the Go Sailing Shop-Getxo Light Sailing Trophy, after which gifts will be delivered for the first classified.

These competitions are productive for the new generation of regatists of this School to extend their learning in the Vizcaina waters of the Abra. They improve their skills and qualities for other championships.

The tests, in the Optimist, FEVA, ILCA and Snipe classes, are marked as closing on the schedule of this appointment for this Sunday. After the celebration of the Guadalimar-Rural Kutxa Trophy that took place in March and April, the participative XXI Trophy José Luis Azqueta and the Spanish Cup ILCA 6, this Go Sailing Shop Trophy ends. In this special year, the 125th Anniversary of the Club of the Arenas, also, in late August and early September, takes off the Spanish Youth and Absolute Snipe Championship.

The Real Club Marítimo del Abra - Real Sporting Club organizes during this year 2023 different days of navigation for the regatists of its School of Vela José Luis de Ugarte.

They continue this Sunday with the second act of the Go Sailing Shop- Light Sailing Getxo League, which will end next June 4. These competitions serve to enable the regatist quarry to develop its learning in the Vizcaina waters of the Abra, with a view to improving its skills and qualities for other championships.

The tests in the Optimist and Snipe classes are indicated in the calendar for Sunday, May 28, as well as for seven days later, already with the regatists of ILCA and FEVA that this weekend compete in San Sebastian.

After the Guadelimar-Rural Kutxa Trophy that was held in March and April, the successful XXI José Luis Azqueta Trophy and the Spanish Cup ILCA 6, this Go Sailing Shop Trophy is part of a wide calendar.

In this special year, the 125th Anniversary of the Club of the Arenas, stands out in late August and early September the Spanish Youth and Absolute Championship of Snipe.
