With a scheduled departure on Friday, June 2, from Port Ginesta, in Barcelona, and arrival in front of the Royal Nautical Club of Port de Pollença, this race features a 104 nautical mile tour, including the crossing of the Balear Sea and access to Mallorca through the imposing Cape Formentor.
The race is remarkable for the championship of Catalunya de Altura, of Solitaries and of crews A2, and also offers the possibility to participate in the categories Promotion, for ships without Rating ORC and in Training for ships school or charter. The Bay of Pollença is also part of the High Regatta Circuit, composed of the Tramuntana Route, the Rei Regatta in Jaume and the Golden Cup Badalona.
The event is supported by the City Council of Pollença, which on the occasion of the XXV anniversary will promote the delivery of a special trophy to the absolute winner of this edition. Repsol, Trasmed and Aumsar are the main private sponsors.
As has been the case for more than 25 years, the race coincides with the second Easter, a work holiday in Barcelona, so part of the fleet has a long bridge to enjoy the navigation and the wonderful coves of northern Mallorca.
