With a second and final day in which the wind shortage forecast was fulfilled, Julian Lopez was declared the winner of the Open Pro category thanks to the results obtained in the first day of competition. In the same way, Marcos Colomar and Enrique Mas rise to the highest of the podiums of the Advanced and Amateur categories respectively.

On the first day of the WFSS Ibiza, a wind of around twelve knots with top rachas of twenty knots allowed the reigning category of the circuit to complete a total of six tests in the bay of Sant Antoni. The Italian Julian Lopez crossed the arrival line in first position in three of the six tests, in the remaining three he left in second and third place, while in one of them, an incident with another regatist caused him to fall to ninth place. However, after requesting a result repair, López's leadership was not affected.

On the second and last day of competition, the wind forecasts that boasted little intensity were fulfilled. Although the organization's ship moved all over the bay in search of the anxious wind, it was not possible to find a place where the wind blew strong enough for the Wing Fails to go out into the race field.

The Mallorquins Miguel Angel Lloserá and Angel Candel accompanied López on the podium in second and third place respectively, thanks to the results they achieved on the first day of the WFSS Ibiza 2023.

The Iberian Marcos Colomar, after being able to lead the Advanced fleet in five of the six trials disputed the previous day and not have enough wind intensity in the second and last day of the WFSS Ibiza 2023, was proclaimed the first winner of the season of this category and, therefore, is placed leader in the General Advanced classification of the 2023 circuit. 2023-05-27: Julián López leader after the first day of the WFSS Ibiza 2023

The Mallorcan rider Julián López finished the first day of competitions in San Antonio Bay, the leader of the circuit's queen category, after signing three first posts in three of the six tests. Marcos Colomar positions himself as the undisputed leader of the Advanced class while the Amateur class is dominated by Enrique Mas.

The Italian Julián López started the day by finishing second in the first manga, but quickly in the second trial was placed first. However, during the third test a small setback with another sportsman made him cross the line of arrival in ninth place. Thanks to the evidence provided by López to the race committee, a repair of results was made to solve the problem and its leadership was not affected.

Along with López, the provisional podium of the WFSS Ibiza 2023 was completed by the mallorquín Miguel Angel Lloserá in second place only 3.2 points from López, and the mallorquín Angel Candel in third place only one point from Llosera

Like the Open Pro class, the wind allowed the Advanced category to complete a total of six tests on the first day on Iberian waters.

Marcos Colomar was an absolute leader from the first minute and did not give truce to his colleagues as he managed to sign a total of five first positions, losing the lead only in the third test of the day, in which he finished fifth. This small backpack did not affect the ibicenco at all, since, thanks to the minimum of necessary evidence, these points could be excluded from the classification.

2023-05-26: Ibiza welcomes the beginning of the Wing Foil Spain Series 2023

The most important Wing Foil National Circuit of the current panorama begins its third season after two editions in which it has been consolidated as the circuit of the specialty in the pattern of race... the starting point Sant Antoni in Ibiza.

In the edition of 2022 he made important successes after having received more than fifty regatists from all corners of Spain, some of them at the top of the current palmarés and young promises of the wing fire, and having traveled throughout the country taking this sport to corners such as Tarifa, Denia, Ibiza, Los Alcázares and Mallorca.

This year the third edition of the Wing Foil Spain Series will visit the incomparable islands of Ibiza and Mallorca in the Balearic Islands, as well as the Valencia Community and Andalusia.
