Carlos Martínez, Eduardo Fernández and Elena Sáez, new Spanish champions ILCA Master

The Spanish championship ILCA Master 2023 is closed for the ILCA6 and ILCA7. It does so on a very different day from yesterday, with three tests being completed, so the national meeting is closed with seven tests on the nine planned.

As planned in the upper part, the two have been able to maintain, case of Carlos Martínez (RCR Santiago de la Ribera) in ILCA 7 and Eduardo Martínez (RCN Valencia) in ILCA 6. Carlos Martínez, in ILCA 7, closes his home participation with three partial wins, totaling six in total. The silver has been for Leandro Rosado (Barcelona RCN), with 15 points, while Oriol Brown (CN Betulo) is left with bronze when you get 20 points.

In ILCA 6 the Valencian Eduardo Martínez with 3-5 partials and one retired in the last test, has been sufficient to achieve the title. With 14 points, he takes to Valencia the plaque that credits him as champion of Spain. On the back, the second podium square was for Juan Barnuevo (RCR Santiago de la Ribera) with 21 points, highlighting in his locker a partial triumph, achieved today in the first test of the day. In females the podium has been closed with Elena Sáez, followed by Marina Sánchez (RCR Santiago de la Ribera) and bronze for Silvia Ravetlat (CN El Balís).

The second day at the Real Club de Regatas Santiago de la Ribera, in the framework of the Spanish championship ILCA 6-ILCA 7 Master has been very long and complicated for all, evidence of this that about eight in the afternoon the fleet returned to the ground, with a complete test for the ILCA 7 and a shortened for the ILCA 6.

In this only test little has changed things in the ILCA 7, with Carlos Martínez (RCR Santiago de la Ribera) taking hold in the first square, but with a short margin on the second, with 2 points of difference.
