The iconic Ifach Peñón Trophy starts with the Royal Nautical Club of Calpe, fulfilling its 34 years of history. The race of the Peñón maintains its format... with two tests: Calpe-Formentera, being its departure on Thursday at 10: 00 in the morning... and a second test that will be launched on Saturday with the inverse route: Formente-Calpe... in line of exit 42 ships.
A great deal of level and quality among those registered are some units from the Murcia Region. Among the favorites there is no doubt that the two largest in the fleet are: Plis Play (RCN Calpe), a Swan 80 by Vicente García, or the Alzira-Moraira (CN Moraira), Swan 75 by Agustín Gregori. Both will play the fastest being to complete the journey, and fight between both will be titanic adventure.
But also within that larger length, we find the Alicantino Spaniard, (RCR of Alicante) with a Grand Soleil 50, Limbo II (CN Santa Pola) by Miguel Ángel García with an XP 44, to which are joined, three, such as the Jeffertje II (Grand Soleil 46), the Issabella, Carlos Momplet, although it is grouped in ORC2, and the great favorite: Itaca IX by Manuel Gallejo.
In the middle area we have the Guaganco of Altea, Greek of Torrevieja, Aleph IV of Villajoyosa, Etreus of Altea. In this area of the ORC2 and ORC3 are those of the house, of the RCN de Calpe and who are always in podium, such as Calama or Aurora.
