Rural Kutxa and the Royal Maritime Club of the Abra-Real Sporting Club have signed a partnership agreement to contribute to the promotion of different sports, cultural, social and environmental activities that have a positive impact on the environment.

The sports project supports activities organized by the Real Club Marítimo del Abra - Real Sporting Club and its José Luis de Ugarte School of Sailing that help to ensure the personal and sports training of young people and partners, as well as to promote the responsible practice of sailing.

The social project supports the organization of free sailing courses during the summer season with the aim of making this beautiful sport accessible to people with physical or organic disabilities in the territory of Bizkaia. This project is developed with the adapted sports territorial Federation. At least twenty days of departure to sea will be organized.

The environmental project supports the organization of a day in the area of sustainability, with the aim of promoting the awareness and environmental awareness of the partners of the Royal Maritime Club of the Abra-Real Sporting Club, while helping to keep the natural environment of the Abra clean.

This agreement allows sport, in this case that of sailing, to be more accessible to all people, regardless of their condition or capabilities. Together with the Bizkaina Federation of Adapted Sport, this project will promote the experience of navigating people with some kind of physical or organic disability.
