Second day of the Galician Villalia Championship of Monotypes J70 and J80 in the waters of the Ria de Vigo, by the J70 Class Association, with the support of the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo, and collaboration on the plot of logistics and avitualación with 14 / 18..
In J70 he won the monotype of Luis Cabiedes of the Real Club Náutico de Barcelona, being the silver for the Marnatura armed by Enrique Freire and he had as his patron Luis Bugallo and the bronze for the Olympic Canary Jorge Martínez Doreeste of the Real Club Náutico de Gran Canaria, which competed with the La Guardia & Moreira, supplying the usual pattern of this J70, which Gonzalo Araújo.
As far as the J80 is concerned, the first place was for Javier de la Gandara, who was the great dominator of the class, this weekend... by achieving a number of speaking for himself: three first and two seconds. After the great Viguese pattern that competed for the Mount Real Club of Yates, two Lusitan units were located the 4 Jotas of Joaquim Moreira and the Marías Casa Telhado of that great cane of Porto that is Manuel María Cunha, who is also a member of the Club of Baiona.

Complicated the closing day in viguese waters, where only two valid sleeves per category were completed... totaling 5 in the total computation, each participant can discard its worst score. The first test to be held was overbegged: with one hour of postponement... and the second Sunday came with the almost exhausted time limits, after two in the afternoon. The unstable winds, with 8 to 10 knots in most and north-east. In any case three sleeves on Saturday and two on Sunday, this Galician Villalia Championship can be considered successful at the meteor level of conditions.
To highlight in the lot of the J70 the excellent end of the Red April of Jorge Pérez Canal that as for the Orensian ships gave the of lime... the sand in charge of one of the great favorites, the Green April of Luis Pérez Canal that ended in a rare position: ninth. The female crew of Naturea, of the Club de Vela Atlántico, who was commanded by Mafalda Pires de Lima (daughter of Antonio and Pedro the great Portuguese regatists), was also to be noted. Also in very good line Pazo de Cea de Cominges-Ojea, veteran Willy Alonso with Séneca SW, the Portuguese Kuboo and the kids of the Sailway Academy, who completed the top ten.

In J80 with an unstoppable Gandara, his maximum a priori rival that was Juan Carlos Ameneiro who with Alboroto is the current champion of Spain... but his fiasco in the fourth manga, in which it went frankly wrong... led to a score of 17, which left him without options. But it was fourth at the end, at the edge of the podium.
The next events of the J70 will be the Spanish Cup in the waters of Catalonia organized by the Real Club Náutico de Barcelona on 19-20 May... and the Spanish Championship Villalia in Galicia, in the waters of La Toja, organized by the Real Club Náutico de Vigo and the Association of the Class J70 de Vigo, from 16 to 18 June

First day of the Galician Villalia Championship of Monotypes J70 and J80 in the waters of the Ria de Vigo, by the J70 Class Association, with the support of the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo, and collaboration on the plot of logistics and avitualación with 1418.es
In J70 with 15 registered ships he commands the Noticia de Real Club Náutico de Barcelona patronado by Luis Martín Cabiedes ahead of the Olympic Jorge Martínez Doreste with La Guardia & Moreira and the component of Americas Cup Luis Bugallo with Marnatura.
Among the 22 registered of J80 the best after the first day is the great ocean navigator of the Viguese Javier de la Gandara with Okofen, second is the current champion of Spain Juan Carlos Ameneiro with Alboroto in which the alicantino Javier Aguado sails of tactic and third the 4Jotas of Joaquim Moreira of the Clube de Vela Atlántico de Leixóes-Porto.
Spectacular the opening of this Galician Villalia, who was delayed for an hour... not because the wind was missing, but because he was capricious and variable. With an intensity of 6 to 18 knots, and some streak that reached the twenty... the chief judge, the coruñés Jaime García, made the sound of the first exit for the J70 class, to do it later with the J80.
Among the most watery, the J70, the Noticia managed to impose on the first two sleeves, completing with a fifth in the third sleeve. The monotype of the Barcelona Nautico was converted with these data, followed by a Viguese ship, but this Saturday with an Olympic canary to the controls... which is common in the regatas of the City Condal: Jorge Martínez Doreeste, very regular in its scores; second, fourth and third. The provisional podium was closed by the redhead of the Spanish team of Americas Cup: Luis Bugallo Arriola in command of the Marnatura, who also won the third manga.
Following this group of April Green by Luis Pérez Canal, Pazo de Cea (which follows in an excellent line) with the Tandem Ojea-Cominges in command, April Red by Jorge Pérez Canal, and the Lusitans Kuboo by Henrique Brites and Leixoes of Mafalda Pires of Lima. They completed the top ten of this class Nacua Sogasa by Sancho Paramo and Seneca SW by Willy Alonso.

In J80 as it could not be otherwise it is "Gandara Territory" that has once again shown who is the class sheriff in the Atlantic. Two first and one second in three sleeves, leaving in discussion the second place a good Alboroto that is the current champion of Spain of the category and that had Javier Aguado next to Juan Carlos Ameneiro, who achieved a first partial, to which I add a fifth and a sixth... to which the Portuguese 4Jotas step.
This magnificent pattern that is Nano Yáñez is in the fourth place, in a handkerchief with María Casa Telhado, who patrons the Portuguese Manuel María Cunha, as well as with Picacho de Miguel Viejo and Maija. After them the Coruñés Pezoas of Diego Carral... while another ship of La Coruña, such as the Kotablue, remains at the door of the top ten of the class... and up to 22 ships, being the one that closes the board the Bazan of the Bazan Group of Ferrol.
For the second and last Sunday with three sleeves that will start at 10.30; the closing will take place at the edge of five o'clock in the public port area annexed to the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo.
