It has sailed a course of 500 meters at a speed of 31.06 knots thus exceeding the previous 29.8... the Andalusian has also hung the bronze in the World Cup

The Andalusian windsurfer Blanca Pérau (MRW) has beat its own speed record, being the fastest woman in the world in the open sea after being able to navigate a 500-metre stretch with its windsurfing board at a sustained speed of 31.06 knots (57.5 km / h) compared to 29.8 knots (55.1 km / h), which was its previous brand achieved in September 2022. It has again been the town of La Palme (France) during the Prince of Speed POS, stage of the World Speed Tour 2023.

On this occasion the wind blew between 25 and 30 knots of a north-west component, which made the sea flat, facilitating the achievement of this new world brand... this speed challenge of navigation with fire has only been overcome in the artificial channel, designed to achieve this type of records, and which is located in Namibia.

Blanca Paliau before traveling to La Palma, tried to overcome his own home record. Sevillana of birth and gaditana of adoption, this spring has tried to beat the record first in the waters of Tarifa and then in the waters of Valdelagrana, in El Puerto de Santa María. But after several attempts, the wind and sea conditions for this were not finally given.

In this World Cup of La Palma, the Swiss Heidi Ulrich took the gold, the German Melek Toraman the silver and Blanca Paliau the bronze, in female category.
