Last weekend the races for these classes were completed, with spectacular conditions for the practice of the candle blowing a wind of north direction with an intensity between 12 to 17 knots

Extensive nautical activity for the fleets corresponding to the classes ILCA4, ILCA6, ILCA7, Ideal18, Snipe, 2.9 mR and Hansa303 in one of the most important trophies of the race calendar of the Royal C lub Nautico Gran Canaria... the President Trophy.

The individual class ILCA played a total of 8 valid races, winning Gervasio Caballero in category 4, Zsombor Denes in 6 and Viktor Kateliev in 7, all of which were from the RCNGC race team.

In the recreational boats with IDEAL18 keel, with five participants and three regatas for the computation, the owner of the nautical grancanary Cristóbal Casteleiro, was proclaimed winner in this Trophy.

The adapted candle had the Hansa 303 and 2.4 mR classes rising to the first place of the podium Vicente Reyes and Alfredo Quevedo respectively while the double class Snipe the Olympic Fernando León and its crew Antonio del Castillo- Olivares were imposed on a fleet of 9 boats after the 4-test dispute.

Finally, the Optimist class, whose competition program took place on the weekend of April 22 / 23, had as winners Jorge Castellanos (Male Sub16 Category), Silvia Medina (Female Sub16 Category), Lili M. Skomska (Sub13 Category) and Sofia Quintana of the CM Varadero, in group B.

Next weekend (13-14 May) this trophy will be held for the group of beginners of group C
