SailGP put an end to its third season with three spectacular races that ended up assuming Australia's victory in a final against British and New Zealanders. The Australians revalidated the title by making their third consecutive obstacle by showing that they have forged a dynasty in this competition.

The Grand Final that was to define the champion of the third season of SailGP faced the most regular teams of the competition. The departure of the Australians was impeccable and quickly left the British team behind. However, Sir Ben Ainslie's people did not lower their arms and fought with everything to achieve glory until they ended up falling.

That was the time of New Zealand that, when it seemed that Australia had done so, they took advantage to approach dangerously before the last manoeuvre. The end was a heart attack, but Tom Slingsby won Peter Burling's pulse by winning his third consecutive title.

The Spanish team formed with Diego Botin, Florian Trittel, Joan Cardona, Joel Rodríguez, María Cantero, Bernardo Freitas (in the fourth race) and Stewart Dodson (in the fifth race). The Gallos achieved two very good exits in both races, but they could not maintain the rhythm imposed by the great favorites of this competition.
