The Federació de Vela de la Comunitat Valencianacalls for the sport fans of the Sailing to go sailing on May 01 in order to fill the Mediterranean with candles and to be, for one day, the Community with more ships at sea.

In order to promote and disseminate this sport in the Community, the FVCV has launched this action, which is to be held throughout the Valencian territory and which has the participation of schools, nautical and federate clubs of Castellón, València and Alicante.

To achieve the challenge, the sports entity has launched a campaign under the motto: On May 1, to the water ships... that encourages all the federations and sports lovers to go out to sail next Monday from 12.00h to 14.00h and, in this way, to get the sea filled with candles.

May the citizens, on this holiday, from the beach, restaurants or sea walks, when looking to the horizon see a sea full of ships and be able to create a panoramic photo that certifies the achievement of the challenge.

This is another action with which, both the Federació de Vela de la Comunitat Valenciana and the nautical clubs and the sailing schools that make it up, work to show that, on the one hand, the Comunitat Valenciana is a Community that lives face the sea and on the other, that the nautical and sailing are sports open to all citizens.
