In ILCA 7, the Italian Lorenzo Cerretelli achieved a 3-1-3 and stood at the head of his class, 6 points below Javier Echevarri, with 13 points and third Leandro Rosado with 15 points.

With a total of 5 contested sleeves, a discard coming into play, Mónica Azón of Club Níutic Arenys de Mar was proclaimed undisputed winner in ILCA 6 mixed and ILCA 6 female. Lorenzo Cerretelli, with very good races, took the podium in ILCA 7. 2023-04-26: More than a hundred lasers at Barcelona Ilca Master Championship 2023

The Barcelona Ilca Master Championship 2023 will be held next weekend in the waters of the City Condal, organized by the Fundación Reial Club Nàutic of Barcelona with the collaboration of the Federació Catalana de Vela, the Barcelona International Sailing Center and the Real Club Náutico of Barcelona.

A total of 109 regatists and 20 nationalities represented will be cited on Saturday, April 29, at the BISC facilities to compete for three days in the waters of the Barcelona coast. The great response of the Ilca Master community has generated great satisfaction for the Real Club Nautico in Barcelona.

The championship will be held for the male categories, ILCA 7 and the mixed category - female and male - in ILCA 6, within each of the categories several subcategories will be established, provided there are at least 7 participants in each category. For the male category ILCA 7, the subcategories will be; Apprentice (30-44 years), Master (45-54 years), Grand Master (55-64 years) and Great Grand Master (65-74 years). In the male and female category ILCA 6, the same subcategories and ages are established as in ILCA 7, with addition of the Legend Master (75 or more).

Friday afternoon will be the day of registration of participants. The attention signal for the first test will be on Saturday 29 at 3 p.m., while on Sunday 30 and Monday 1 May the exit signal is scheduled for 12 hours. The maximum number of tests per fleet shall be nine, with a maximum of three sleeves per day, with two separate outputs for each fleet and trapeze (inner and outer) routes.
