The Foxy Lady, an IMX 45 armed by Klaus Bauer and sailing the CN Campello, has been proclaimed today at the Royal Nautical Club of Torrevieja, absolute champion of the XXIII Star of Levante Trophy. A second day that has been marked by the little wind, although it has allowed to complete part of the planned route to Cabo Cervera. The committee, with those few 6 knots of intensity of 070th and with about an hour delay, has shortened the course, but has not subtracted emotion and changes in the general.

That little wind played in favor of the smaller units and those that were more difficult for them to defend their numbers, case of Maverta 2 against Slick, mainly. The leader in class 1-2, Foxy Lady has had no trouble keeping up and scoring for the second day in a row the triumph in real time and, in addition, in compensated time.

It remained to be seen how the other two podium squares were to be defined. The equality between the ships and playing against that little wind, put up the work and the results of Saturday. Once the times have been compensated the second place in this class has been for Phoenicio, yesterday was 4th and today 2nd, followed by Four Glory, with two third places.

Class 3 changes, with the big favorite putting things in place. The Maverta 2 of Pedro Gil, once again led by José Ballester, has noted the triumph in real and compensated, this plus the second place yesterday, makes it end first, that is, tied to 3 points with the Slick of Juan López Santa-Cruz (1-2). The bronze is left by the local Sea Minor, by Pablo Bernabé.

In Class 4 and 5, the podiums have been closed with Saleroso 2.0, Dax and Tamoa in the first of them, and with Tucana I, Brisa and Bear in the second. As for Division 2, the first three seats in the drawer have been for Marchalado II, Pampeon and Kuttune.

As for the absolute general, next to the Foxy Lady, the Slick appears in the second square, followed by the Marvert 2, Sea Minor, Phoenicio, Four Glory, Seeker, Greek, Repelon and Mevill- Jumbuck closing the top ten.

The Torreviejense race has had a solidarity side in this edition of 2023. Under the motto... We sew seams that transform lives, under the umbrella of Extraordinary Projects, with a high economic, social and environmental impact.
