Representatives of the sports entity have collected the award at the Annual Gala of the FER's 2022 Remo Awards, which took place on Saturday in Madrid.

The Spanish Remo Federation has delivered the 2022 National Remo Awards, following the evaluation of hundreds of nominations received in time and time for each of the categories.

This year the Women's Remo Award has been held at the Real Club de Regatas de Alicante. These awards are to recognize the merits of the persons and institutions accumulated in 2022.

This recognition highlights that the club is a reference in the national rowing through which the sports entity promotes the values of equality and sportsmanship, firmly betting on the mixed teams ensuring equality between men and women. As a result, almost 50% of their athletes' licences are female.

The Real Club de Regatas de Alicante has more than 500 athletes who practice rowing a year in its facilities, both in the leisure and in competition. They are therefore one of the main quarries of the national rowing. In terms of results, the club has success in all rowing forms in both European and global Spanish championships.
