The nautical fair organized by Vice-President and BYBA will take place from 27 to 30 April in Palma

More than 180 people have been working for 15 days on the construction of the fair, which will host the next edition of the Palma International Boat Show, and which will take place from 27 to 30 April at the Moll Vell de Palma. The nautical fair is organized by the Institute of Business Innovation of the Balearic Islands, a body under the Vice President and Council of Energy Transition, Productive Sectors and Democratic Memory, and Balearic Yacht Brokers Association.

The fact that it is necessary to build a fairground on the outside and at sea is a great difficulty, and that is why the precise assembly of operators, electrical installation technicians, assemblers, decorators, carpenters, divers, plumbers, safety and transporters, among many other professionals from different fields, who work to leave the enclosure ready for the celebration of the Fair, which will be the first of the season for the nautical sector.

The vice president and advisor of Energy Transition, Productive Sectors and Democratic Memory, Juan Pedro Yllanes, has stated that the organization of this fair "is vital for the nautical sector and its industry that, together with the energy transition or innovation, are a vital factor in the economic diversification of the Balearic Islands."

It should be noted that, in order to accommodate all the ships that travel in Palma to participate in the Fair, it is necessary to install up to 200 metres of floating line intended for the mooring of yachts or the circulation of visitors. One of the new developments this year is the task of restoring and developing all the floating pants to offer exhibitors and visitors a quality and more secure infrastructure. In addition, these days the installation of the floating runway linking the Consigna Spike with the Moll of the Fisheries Industry has also taken place on a circular route. The catwalk has a length of 72 meters and a width of 5 meters.
