CdeC is a different race in the Rias of Pontevedra and Vigo, with exits from the vicinity of the Marina Commud and the Real Club Náutico de Vigo, which collaborated with the Monte Real in the orgnanizative tasks.
The smaller fleet, which left Commud, was also the most mature. Seven ships took the exit five minutes after noon with conditions that coincided with the parts planned by the committee. A south-west wind above the ten knots that made it easier for them to push towards Baiona.
Two ships, the Narval of the Nautical Club of Vilagarcía, patrolled by José Antonio Portas; and the Nahela of the Club Deportivo Alagua (A Guarda), led by Víctor Manuel Álvarez; they were quickly placed in the head, leaving the rest of the ships at their stern throughout the tour. They kept a very interesting hand-to-hand to the end, but the time-compensation gave the definitive victory to the Ronática Marinas, by Jorge Carneiro (CN San Telmo). The Nahela was second and closed the podium in the third position the Five Albariño Islands of Iñaki Carbada (CN Beluso).
The fleet that left from Commud went a total of 23 miles and the route for the ships that left Vigo, who heard the starting horn past two in the afternoon with 17 knots from the south-east, was 12 miles.
The fastest to complete that distance was the Yess Too, of Rui Ramada, of Mount Real, which used just over two hours to cross the line of arrival. The outstanding Portuguese pattern was the fastest but the compensation of times led him to fall to the third position behind the Bon III of Victor Carrión (CN Punta Lagoa) and the Magical of Julio Rodríguez (RCN Vigo), which remained at the door of revalidating the victory of the previous edition.
This was done by setting up the podium of winners of the class ORC 1-2-3, one of the five that were put into line on the Vigo-Baiona route. In ORC 4, the podium's steps were covered by the Deep Blue 2.1 of Vicente Cid (RCN Vigo), which achieved gold; The Black Mockery of Juan José Martínez (CN Castrelo de Miño), which was made with silver; and the bronze remained in Baiona thanks to the good performance of the Fend the Bise of Jean Claude Sarrade.
There was also a category A Two, for teams made up only of a master and a crew member, in which he defeated Salaño dos of the couple made up of Jacobo Vecino and Brenda Maure (RCN Vigo), a very well-developed duo that for years has had the measures taken for this type of navigation very well. In second and third position were the Bonaventure of José Luis Ríos and María Jesús Montes (RCN Vigo); and the Aquilón of Roberto Telle and Genoveva Pereiro (MRCYB)
The J80 monotypes, the largest fleet (23 units) and non-time compensation, competed in real time and their dispute ended with the Alboroto at the top of the podium. A new victory for one of the ships that is run as favorites of the Galician fleet for the J80 World Cup.
The crew, led by Juan Carlos Ameneiro, overtook his club partner, Fernando Yáñez, on board the Cansino; and the Kotablue Fibra Coruña 14 / 18 of Esteban Martínez de la Escalera, of the RCN A Coruña.

The rest of the sailing boats, mainly from more southern clubs such as Vigo, Canido, Baiona, Punta Lagoa, Bouzas, Rodeira or Castrelo de Miño, will leave from Vigo, divided into different classes. For all of them, the route will be somewhat smaller, about 15 miles.

The Rias of Pontevedra and Vigo and the Bay of Baiona will be the stage, next Saturday, of the Trophy CdeC, with which the Monte Real Club of Yates inaugurates its calendar of races for ships ORC
With the CdeC Trophy, the great races return to Baiona and they do so, in this first call, unfolding through the southern Galician rias, those of Pontevedra and Vigo, with two different coastal races. One, the earliest, will leave at 12 noon in Commud, with a tour forecast of about 22 nautical miles. The other, with exit from the vicinity of the port of Vigo, will start at two in the afternoon, and will involve a route of about 15 miles.
Among the participants already confirmed will be some of the winners of the previous edition, who will try to revalidate triumph. In 2022 they took the laurels the Magic of Julio Rodríguez (Class ORC 1-2-3), the Deep Blue 2.1 of Vicente Cid (Class ORC 4-5-6), the Salaño 2 of Jacobo Vecino and Brenda Maure (Class A2), the Maracaná of Carlos García (Class ORC Commud) and the Alboroto patronized by Javier Aguado (Class J80).
The Royal Nautical Club of Vigo and Mount Real Club of Yates will almost certainly be the clubs with a greater presence of boats online of departure, but there are already confirmed crews of many other clubs. In the water competing will be La Burea Negra de Castrelo de Miño, the Esquio del Liceo Marítimo de Bouzas, the Ronáuticas Marinas del Club Náutico San Telmo de Tui, the Narval del Club Náutico Vilagarcía, or the Five Albariño Islands of the Club Náutico de Beluso, the Petrilla Cáctus Digital del Club Náutico de Portonovo or the Orlando del Ro Yacht Club de Comarto, among others.
